Preface.

Everyone’s life is a story. Unfortunately, some decide their experience is not exciting or worth telling. Everyone has a unique story, and mine is focused on health and wellness. One morning, I woke up feeling God wanted me to tell my story about my healing journey. He inspired me to write about my journey through the medical stage.

I doubted I could write it to what the general audience could understand because I had never written a book. I asked God that if He has called me to write my story to guide me and to help me to formulate the words and let them flow out of me, and it did. I found that my story touch so many spiritually. So my writing began.

My story began setting out to find a solution to the illness I was working through, and to start feeling better again. It seemed like a decade was passing by because every one of the doctors or specialists I had seen hadn’t an answer for me. I was confused about not finding anyone to help. I cried every day because I was getting worse and not better.

I desperately wanted to find healing, and as more time passed, I immediately began investigating what my illness could always be, thinking that a doctor could give me answers and tell me what the cause was, sadly, only to be passed around from doctor to doctor. Frustrated and losing hope, feeling and seeing that I was not getting anywhere, my condition intensified and worsened.

Ultimately, I began to see that healthcare is not about getting well; it is as though they do not care at all. Healthcare is a concept people cannot provide; it takes your money. As a witness, no positive results or solutions came from it. With all that said, finding the correct help I needed seemed to be impossible.

Sorrowfully, because of this situation, it did not get me closer to healing my illness. Looking at the bigger picture, I saw that I was not alone. I saw that others out there were not being truly helped. Instead, they were being unnecessarily prescribed medications that covered them like a bandage, only masking the significant issues of their illnesses.

As a result, their illnesses worsened, causing added problems. Enough is enough, I thought! I did not want to go down the same path as everyone else, only to fill my body with medications that doctors were quick to prescribe; I knew that was not the solution, and I had a long and bumpy road ahead of me. I took my illness into my own hands, accepting full accountability for myself and wanting to feel better again.

I discovered that by finding and researching the root cause, It was evident that I could find a real solution and by doing this then turn this illness around. My first thought was that I could find answers through the internet and other means and get to something that could give me similar symptoms to mine.

The internet has excellent and helpful information and because so many people post things, like their own illnesses and medical white papers. I had to try. There are clues of data on the World Wide Web. Besides, I knew I had to weed through nonfactual details. Discovering that other people would post things on the internet trying to find others with similar symptoms and illnesses. I could research anything and everything through different forums.

Maybe I could start here and find something, anything to build my hope up.. Hopefully, again, I was gathering information on diseases and scientific breakthroughs, noting that much health information was at my fingertips. I was excited by what I could find, but understanding this was the beginning of my research journey.

Now, feeling enlightened by the knowledge through simple details I was getting, it took time to find what I needed to find a solution. That said, I began seeing more people experiencing autoimmune and unknown health problems. Why is this? As a spiritual individual, I did not know why people got sick in the first place.

Reading and realized that because of free will, we all choose the quick band-aid fix instead of waiting for God. We would endure things in life, constantly questioning whether the decision was good or wrong. I believe that we go through seasons of doubt in our lifetime, and our choices can lead to consequences we set for ourselves. From these thoughts, my brain was spinning with thought and speculation about sickness in the world.

The foremost challenge confronting all Americans today revolves around the dire state of our healthcare system, which demands both enhancement and increased affordability. Government regulations have strangled healthcare practitioners of every discipline, compelling them to adhere to stringent guidelines and restrictions.

Regrettably, this trajectory threatens to make our most knowledgeable physicians obsolete, allowing those who adapt to the system’s constraints to persist. I felt an urgent need to address this pervasive issue and more through my writing. In my work, I dive into the intricacies of this critical matter, striving to illuminate the complex web of challenges within our healthcare system.

By doing so, I aim to spark a dialogue that explores potential remedies and paves the way for a healthcare landscape that is accessible and fair for all. I hope my story about my journey to healing in Research Me, God, body, and illness inspires people to research. We are teachers and can achieve anything we want with trust and faith in God. We need to start somewhere.

Starting somewhere is a great principle to follow in any situation. Be a leader. Take a stand. Enjoy Research Me, a personal story about healing filled with information that could help research your illnesses.
